KingSports B.V. evolved from King Nonwovens B.V. on 1 January 2005 as an independent limited company. With Bart van der Hart and Jan van Leeuwen as managing directors, the company possesses a great deal of knowledge of the products and their applications within specific segments.

KingSports' range consists principally of adhesive tapes of various sizes and lengths, for gluing together artificial grass. These tapes have been tested in accordance with FIFA and IRB (rugby) guidelines.

Also, KingSports has developed a new gluing method for the landscaping market using hotmelt on the adhesive tape. This method is suitable for both indoor and outdoor gluing.

KingSports also supplies a one-component MS-Polymere (1K-MS) and a two-component polyurethane (2KPU) adhesive, which have been tested on the adhesive tapes by an independent laboratory. It also provides different types of pressure-distributing fabric liners (geotextile) by various suppliers. A fabric liner which is much in demand is Typar®Sport by Du Pont de Nemours, which has been approved by NOC*NSF.

KingSports also has various anti-root products in its range, for preventing damage to artificial grass pitches. Both anti-weed fabric, which is applied horizontally, and anti-root fabric, which is applied vertically, are available (Rootbarrier®). Rootbarrier® passes the strict German test.
